'Hakuna Majiwe', the local name for the hotel ground, means 'place without stones'. As individual as its name, this beach hotel has a special atmosphere, being different to other hotels. Set on a fabulous 6 kilometres white-sand palmfringed and desert beach, cooled by the ocean breeze, is the perfect gateway to an exotic african paradise.

Hakuna Majiwe Lodge is located between Paje and Jambiani, on the South East Coast of Zanzibar.
The restaurant offers local and international cuisine, with an emphasis on italian pasta and specialities. Enjoya wide range of beers, south african wines and liquors at the bar.
The hotel consists of 18 rooms in beach bungalows, facing the ocean. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms with hot water, wardrobe, double or twin beds with mosquitonets, ceiling fans and a spacious verandah. All rooms are big enough for extra beds, perfect for families. The rooms have all been individually designed to offer style, comfort and personality.
