Mara Intrepids Camp recreates the romance and charm of the old safari experience. The camp is located in a peaceful setting, shaded by large trees and spread out along Talek riverbank. Early in the morning, before morning game drives, you wake to tea and coffee served in your tent. During the day you can venture out on game drives or relax on a sun-bed around the swimming pool.
The safari experience at Mara Intrepids Camp is a unique game-viewing adventure. It includes three daily game drives (early morning, mid-morning and late afternoon) with experienced guides and educational outings with the Adventurers’ Club accompanied by the camp’s resident naturalist. Cultural trips to neighboring Maasai villages – where Mara supports several community development projects – can also be arranged for you.
The camp is fenced so you and your children can walk about safely and has welcome ‘extras’ like Wi-Fi and pre-dinner slideshow talks by a wildlife expert.
